Our talented instructors are working performers and artists who have impressive backgrounds, and more importantly love working with students. Our clinicians will contact your teacher or group leader prior to the event to ensure your experience is customized specifically to your group. And our on site moderators are there to handle any last minute details and make you feel at ease.

BAND / ORCHESTRA / CHOIR

These advanced level 90-minute clinics provide performing groups (bands, choirs, orchestras and show choirs) the opportunity to work on their current repertoire or a new piece with world-class artists from renowned concert bands, orchestras, opera companies and Broadway shows. Clinics take place in a variety of private studios. Our guest clinicians speak directly with group directors in advance to discuss details of the clinic and to meet educational objectives.

DANCE

Your group takes part in an intense 90-minute class taught by award-winning teachers from New York's leading companies! Among topics covered are audition techniques and career advice. Popular genres include: Tap, Jazz, Modern Dance, Classical Ballet and Hip Hop. Clinics take place in Manhattan rehearsal studios.

BROADWAY SONG & DANCE

Groups get into the Broadway “state-of-mind” during this 90-minute clinic where they learn an authentic Broadway Song & Dance combination by a Broadway “triple threat” (dancer, actor and singer) and a professional New York City vocal coach. The group rehearses and perfects the vocals and choreography to a classic Broadway routine. At the end of each clinic, students take part in a Q&A with the guest artist.

DRAMA / AUDITION

“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” Groups take part in an intensive 90-minute class taught by actors from stage and screen. We offer classes on scene study, improvisation, stage combat, monologue preparation, and audition techniques (musical theater, non-musical theater or commercial). Classes take place where many famous performers auditioned and rehearsed for Broadway shows and other productions.

VISUAL ARTS

Drawing Clinic – Groups participate in a 90-minute drawing class (figurative with a clothed model or still-life) with a distinguished New York artist and teacher. Classes take place in a variety of art studios and provide a unique opportunity for a professional critique. Classes focus on technique and personal style. Sessions conclude with a Q & A to discuss the details of life as a professional artist.

Chelsea Art Gallery Crawl – Groups explore the 21st century art world of New York City, the arts capital of the world. Chelsea is New York’s newest neighborhood for avant-garde galleries, artist lofts and the center of the art market. Students get the chance to experience a variety of galleries and exhibits, and speak to the gallery directors about artist selection, global prices, and trends.

PROFESSIONAL RECORDING

As an addition, your group can take away a polished digitally mastered tape and fully edited CD of any of our TOG Workshops. This recording will capture the highlights of your workshop experience with one of our distinguished guest artist/teacher in a well known rehearsal studio.
