Founder’s Letter
The European salons of the 1930’s and 40’s brought together great artists, thinkers and politicos to share ideas, discuss trends and spark inspiration. These salons fueled the arts and cultural landscape of their time and influence life to this day. When The Offstage Group began as New York Offstage in 1992, it was the idea of these intimate and informal gatherings that helped me forge the company’s original mission. Now 17 years later, we are proud to have introduced the best of New York’s cultural world to nearly half a million people.
Although our Educational and Corporate divisions speak to different audiences and take a variety of exciting and interactive formats, the premise is the same. We strive to ignite a passion, an appreciation and knowledge of a cultural or lifestyle topic through sophisticated yet informal experiences.
